In the period of 21 to 23 October 2014, ABE SA (at that time named Alexander Balan Engineering) participated at the first-ever Symposium on Innovation in Aviation Security organized by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), located in Montreal, Canada at ICAO Headquarters. Among the many participants at this Symposium, the company has positioned itself as platinum sponsor, along with IATA (International Air Transport Association).
For the first time ever, ICAO was bringing together government officials, regulators, airport authorities, airline executives, OEMs, academics and other senior decision makers to understand and guide future innovations in aviation security technologies.
The Symposium had been designed to help States, industry, academic researchers and other AVSEC professionals explore how technology, tools and equipment can help States and industry meet both existing and future aviation security challenges. The event was focused on achieving win-win solutions for global aviation security and facilitation objectives, mainly by optimizing existing technologies and procedures, strengthening partnerships between States and manufacturers, and driving increased innovation in AVSEC technology.
At the Symposium, SIAAB technology was highly appreciated and discussed by international specialists the order to put into practice the mandatory implementation in the International Civil Aviation.
